Whale Tail Items
My original intention in making Whale Tail Mugs was to bring more of people's awareness to the whales.
In the process of making them, they have evolved to accentuate the characteristic of any handmade item .... that is, that every one is unique. I make them all a little different to fit different sized hands. Similar, in some ways, to a humpback whale's tail, which is totally unique. Each whale is identified by its tail. It is also a metaphor for how each one of us is unique.
Recently, I have come to believe that whales embody love on a higher level on this planet and connect us all together as does the ocean that they live in.

- What is the approximate size of hand: Small / Medium or Large?
- Are the fingers long and thin or shorter?
- Is the hand wide or not so much?
- If this is a gift, and you aren't aware of the hand size, what is the approximate height and weight of the person?
